There is a creche in the church centre on all Sundays except during July.
Noah’s Ark & Red Sea Clubs:
During term time, children aged 3-11 will find lots of friends and activities in our two primary school age clubs.
Parents can leave children in the clubs, at 10.20 on Sunday mornings, in the church centre. The club teachers and helpers then bring the groups into the church to join the first part of the service, before returning to the space and brightness of the centre for fun. (Alternatively, helpers will escort children who are sitting with parents over to the centre, when the clubs leave the service.) Children are collected from the centre at the end of the service.
ACTs – Active Christian Teens Club:
ACTs club members (12-15 year olds) can develop leadership skills, teamwork and responsibility by assisting our leaders with the activities for younger children in our Noah’s Ark and Red Sea Clubs for about half an hour. Then the ACTs members have their own special time together for half an hour.
Each ACTs session starts with a brief ‘activator’ - e.g. a short film, a music clip, an activity, designed to focus thoughts on the topic for the session’s discussion, led by one of the ACTs leaders. Points for reflection or activities are then taken home.
Members collect ACTs level points with each session they attend. As the levels are reached, these are marked by the group, with special celebrations for silver and diamond.
Holiday Sunday Club:
On most Sunday mornings during school and public holiday weekends there is a holiday activities club, in the centre, for children. We have games and activities for children ages 3-11 (older children are still welcome, but may be asked to help!). Children can join the fun between 10 and 11.45 am. Parents are free to collect children after the service at 11.30, or choose to enjoy a rare ‘child-free’ coffee in the Chapterhouse ’till 11.45.
