Pilgrimage in the Footsteps of St.Paul

9th to 19th April 2015

Library at Ephasus

During 2015, it is hoped to organise another congregational pilgrimage. Following last year’s much enjoyed trip to the Holy Land where we visited the main sites associated with the life and teaching of Jesus , our proposed pilgrimage takes us in the footsteps of the apostles, St Paul and St John.

Blue Mosque in Istanbul

The origins of Christianity lie in the ruins of churches which generated the growth of our faith westwards from Asia into Europe and are the communities in which the lives of St Paul and St John became interwoven. Our trip begins with three days in Istanbul, one of the great cities of the world with a culture and geography that looks both east and west. We will then travel through the countryside visiting the sites of the seven churches of Revelation. Finally, we spend four days based at a resort hotel by the Aegean Sea – a comfortable and relaxing end to our fantastic odyssey. In total, we stay in four hotels each of which is classified at 4 stars.
